A while ago, a heavy engineering logistics company in Senegal contacted us and ordered a 4-axle gooseneck lowbed semi-trailer and a 4-axle flatbed semi-trailer. The customer has been doing logistics business around Dakar Port for more than ten years and has a group of fixed mining and infrastructure customers. Previously, the old trailer frame was aging and the welds were cracked. This time, they ordered two new cars with different configurations at once, hoping to improve the overall transportation capacity. The export documents have been prepared and the customs clearance procedures are also progressing simultaneously.
This 4-axle gooseneck lowbed semi-trailer platform has a length of 8.5 meters and a width of 2.9 meters, which is slightly wider than another 4-axle flatbed semi-trailer. The platform surface is covered with thickened wear-resistant patterned steel plates, and the main beam of the frame is made of T600 high-strength steel, with double-layer reinforcement treatment applied to the goose neck area.
The other 4-axis flatbed semi-trailer focuses more on universality, with a 4-axis layout combined with thickened spring mechanical suspension and 12R22.5 steel wire tires, with a rated load of about 50 tons and stable running. The goods can be transported directly on top, and there are buttonholes reserved next to the flat panel for tying ropes and tarpaulins.
The customer emphasized the rust prevention issue of these two 4-axle goose neck low flatbed/flatbed semi trailers. We used epoxy zinc rich primer for deep rust prevention treatment, covered the middle layer with epoxy mica iron for sealing, and applied two layers of polyurethane weather resistant topcoat on the surface. The customer chose yellow as the topcoat color, which is consistent with the color of multiple devices and is also eye-catching and safe on the road.
These two 4-axle goose neck lowbed/flatbed semi trailers have been sent to Senegal and are expected to arrive in over a month.
