Last week, we shipped three flatbed semi-trailers to Ecuador in South America. This was a repeat order from a customer who bought one unit from us last year.
The customer first met us at a trade show, but we didn't talk much at that time. Late last year, they contacted us to say that local infrastructure projects were moving forward at an accelerated pace, so they needed some flatbed semi-trailers to transport steel and construction equipment. They compared several suppliers, but eventually chose us because of our steel quality and welding process. After using the first flatbed semi-trailer for more than six months, they told us it ran smoothly with zero issues. So this time they didn't hesitate — they ordered three units at once.
These three flatbed semi-trailers were customized for Ecuador's road conditions and work habits. The frame is made of high-strength manganese steel, and the main beam is thickened for extra load capacity. Each flatbed semi-trailer is 13 meters long and 2.5 meters wide, which is enough to carry two standard steel pipes side by side or one medium-sized excavator. The deck is covered with anti-skid checkered plates, and there are evenly spaced lashing hooks and tie-down rings for easy cargo securing. The suspension system is mechanical with reinforced leaf springs. The axles are from Fuwa, paired with Double Coin tires. This setup handles mountain roads and mining sites pretty well.

Here are the advantages of these flatbed semi-trailers. First, durability. Many customers worry about bending or cracked welds over time. Our main beam uses a one-piece design without splice joints, so the force spreads evenly and there's no local twisting under heavy loads. Every weld is checked with ultrasonic testing. The paint is epoxy zinc-rich primer plus two topcoats, so rust is not an issue even in coastal or humid areas. Second, safety. The brake system has a dual-circuit design with ABS, so the trailer doesn't skid during emergency braking — very important for Ecuador's curvy and hilly roads. Third, easy maintenance. All wear parts, such as brake pads, relay valves, and spring pins, are common models that can be bought locally in Ecuador without long waiting times. These are the real reasons the customer came back for three more flatbed semi-trailers.
The three units have been loaded into containers and are on their way to the port of Guayaquil. The customer said if these work as well as the first one, they might place another order later this year. We hope to help more customers get their jobs done easier and faster.
