Last month, a batch of 3-axle rear dump semi trailers completed final assembly and commissioning at the FEICHI factory, ready to be sent to Gabon. The buyer is the owner of a timber and mineral transportation company, who has been in the transportation industry in Gabon for over 20 years. His main business is to transport logs and manganese ore from Gabon's inland forest areas to ports for export, and on the way back, he pulls building materials and equipment from the port to the mining area. He used a flatbed truck and a crane before, which was decent for transporting wood, but it was too difficult to unload ore and sand. This time, he ordered two 3-axle trucks and overturned them, specifically for the route from the mining area to the port.
The unloading method of overturning after three axles is very practical for bulk cargo transportation. When you arrive at the destination, find a flat ground, lift the cargo compartment up, and the goods will automatically slide down from the rear without the need for forklifts or manual labor. The customer said that just unloading the goods can save at least an hour and a half, and making an extra trip a day is not a problem.

In terms of configuration, we have taken into account the actual needs of our customers. This batch of 3-axle rear dump semi trailers uses high-strength steel welded frames, with double-layer reinforcement for both the main and auxiliary beams, and triangular supports specifically added to the rear flip lifting parts. The carriage is made of thick high-strength steel plates and has a U-shaped design with a narrow front and wide back. When the carriage is lifted, the material can be poured backwards and unloaded in about a minute. The center of gravity is much lower than that of a regular rectangular cargo box, and the frame and cargo compartment are welded together as a whole, which will not loosen even under long-term heavy loads.

The route in Gabon is located in coastal areas with high humidity and heavy salt spray, which causes much faster corrosion of steel than inland areas. We used epoxy zinc rich primer for deep rust prevention treatment, and applied two coats of polyurethane weather resistant topcoat on the surface layer. Most of the roads in inland forest and mining areas are dusty during the dry season and muddy during the rainy season. When running on these roads after a three axle rollover, the tires are not easily trapped on soft roads. The cargo compartment and chassis are welded together as a whole, making them less likely to loosen or deform on bumpy roads. The grip on wet and slippery roads is much better than that of a two axle car.
For this customer in Gabon, a 3-axle rear dump semi-trailer is indeed a practical choice.
