Recently, a batch of 3-axle sidewall semi trailers were shipped from the FEICHI factory, and the buyer is a local Armenian who has been in transportation business in the Caucasus region for over a decade. He ordered two 3-axle side wall semi trailers this time. He said that the goods are easily damaged during long-distance transportation, and the side wall trucks are much more reliable than flatbed trucks.
Armenia has a unique geography and climate. It is an inland country, with 90% of its territory located at an altitude of over 1000 meters. The climate changes dramatically with the terrain, and the requirements for the strength, suspension system, and paint of semi trailers are much higher than those in plain areas.
The fences on both sides of this batch of 3-axis side wall semi trailers are 600mm high, which can effectively prevent goods from slipping during transportation. The platform is laid with 6mm thick patterned plates, which are anti slip and wear-resistant. Workers do not have to climb up the carriage to tie so many ropes, and the loading and unloading time has been greatly reduced. The side fence is detachable. If it is occasionally necessary to pull oversized goods, the fence can be removed and used as a flatbed truck. The customer is very satisfied with this design and said that sometimes the types of goods are not fixed during transportation in mountainous areas, so it would be better to be more flexible.
The suspension system is a three-axis series steel plate spring suspension. The customer specifically chose mechanical springs instead of air suspension because they felt that the mountain roads in Armenia are bumpy and there is ice and snow in winter, and air suspension may have problems in extremely cold weather. The paint for this batch of 3-axis side wall semi trailers is treated with epoxy zinc rich primer for deep rust prevention, and the surface layer is coated with two coats of polyurethane weather resistant topcoat. All concealed areas on the inside of the frame and the openings on the crossbeam are treated with cavity wax spray for rust prevention.
