Recently, a 3-axis side dump semi-trailer has been produced at the FEICHI factory and is ready to be sent out. The customer is the owner of a local agricultural product transportation company in The Gambia. They have used flatbed trucks and rear overturned trucks, but this time they chose a semi-trailer with a side flip, saying it was specifically purchased for unloading sites with limited space.
The basic configuration of this overturned semi-trailer is a three axle design, with a total length of 13 meters, a width of 2.5 meters, and a rated load capacity of 60 tons. The main beam is made of high-strength steel welded box structure. Some sections of the Gambia's roads have been in disrepair for a long time, with continuous potholes and sections on the road surface. In addition, the rainy season is muddy and the heavy vehicle twists and turns, causing significant fatigue damage to the frame. The axle is equipped with FUWA brand axles, and the suspension system uses multi piece steel plate springs, with a simple structure and easy maintenance. The height of the cargo compartment side panel has been increased, and the side doors are designed to be fully open, which can be opened one by one. The loading and unloading efficiency is much higher than that of the rear overturning type.

The rollover lifting system is equipped with multi-stage hydraulic cylinders, which have sufficient lifting capacity. When unloading, the carriage slowly lifts to one side, and the materials can be emptied completely at once. The rollover method is a left and right integrated rollover, which can be selected to turn left or right according to the situation of the unloading site. Whether there is space on the left or right side of the site, it can be unloaded directly without turning around.
The rear of this 3-axle side dump semi-trailer is equipped with LED combination taillights, anti-theft nets, and waterproof and dustproof sealing treatment. The cargo compartment and frame surfaces are sprayed with a double coating of epoxy zinc rich primer and polyurethane topcoat, which can effectively resist salt spray corrosion during sea transportation and high humidity environments in coastal areas of West Africa.
At present, this 3-axle side dump semi-trailer has been shipped and will arrive in The Gambia in about a month.
